Tables are covered with green table covers. Poker chips are littered around the tables. Classical or old style country music can be playing in the background to complete the atmosphere of a casino.
Around the room, game tables are set up for players. This includes a roulette, craps, black jack, and poker tables. At the door, 10 tickets are handed out to residents. Tickets are used to play at the tables to win more and when the residents are ready, they can turn them in to receive money or prizes.
For the food portion of the party, serve sandwiches and/or cookies shaped like diamonds, hearts, spades, or clubs. Also serve coffee or a red punch.
