These puzzles were made specifically for the “Little House on the Prairie” large group party.  The puzzles are placed on the tables before the party begins so that early guests have something to do while they wait for the others to arrive.

The puzzles have no paint or design as they were planned to meet the toy standards of that era.  They have simply been cut from wood in a small number of pieces.  Participants must figure out the puzzle on their own, with no clues given as to its final form.

Although the assembly of these puzzles appears to be a simple task, it is not.  Participants have enjoyed the challenge and they have had fun, especially after realizing that, although there are only seven or eight pieces, it truly is a “puzzle!”
