“Who Said That” is comprised of a list of sayings that we have all heard throughout our lifetime but, who said that?
The facilitator reads one quote. It must be read clearly and slowly so everyone is able to hear and comprehend what is being said. Repeat the quote two or three times. Hesitate a bit to see if anyone knows the source before giving the 2 or 3 answer choices from which they can choose. Once the source of the quote has been determined, discuss the meaning of the quote and ask participants if they have heard it before, if their parents ever used it, or if they have used it themselves. This is a great activity for generating stimulating conversation so take you time and enjoy the sharing.
